The JFDC-1152A is a high-capacity outdoor fiber distribution cabinet engineered for large-scale fiber optic networks. With support for up to 1,152 fiber ports, this cabinet serves as a critical distribution hub in FTTH deployments, 5G infrastructure, and campus network backbones.

Built with Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) shell — a glass-fiber reinforced polyester material — the cabinet delivers exceptional mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The IP65-rated enclosure provides complete protection against dust ingress and water jets, making it suitable for deployment in harsh outdoor environments including coastal areas, industrial zones, and regions with extreme temperature fluctuations (-45°C to +80°C).

The drawer-type tray design allows technicians to access individual splice modules without disturbing adjacent fibers. Each of the 96 splice & distribution modules supports 12 fibers, enabling flexible configurations for both fusion splicing and mechanical splicing applications. The four-door design (front and rear access) further simplifies maintenance and fiber management in high-density installations.

The cabinet accommodates both singlemode (G.652D, G.657A1/A2) and multimode (OM3/OM4) fiber types, with adapter options including SC, LC, and FC connectors. Cable entry is supported through multiple gland ports at the bottom, with integrated cable management ring and tie points for organized routing.

How do I install the JFDC-1152A outdoor fiber cabinet?
The JFDC-1152A is designed for ground mounting with a concrete foundation. We recommend a 350mm-deep foundation with M16 anchor bolts. The bottom section (350mm height) houses cable entry glands and provides structural stability. Installation hardware and foundation drawings are included with each unit. For wall-mounting applications, please contact us for the adapter bracket kit.
What fiber types and connectors are compatible?
The cabinet supports both singlemode fibers (G.652D, G.657A1/A2 for bending-insensitive applications) and multimode fibers (OM3, OM4). Standard adapter options include SC, LC, and FC in UPC or APC polish. The 96 splice & distribution modules accept standard 2.0mm and 3.0mm patch cords and pigtails. Custom adapter configurations are available for OEM orders.
Can the internal configuration be customized?
Yes. The JFDC-1152A supports fully customizable internal layouts. We can configure the cabinet for different splice-to-adapter ratios, accommodate MPO/MTP trunk cables, or include pre-terminated cassettes. Splitter modules (1×8, 1×16, 1×32) can also be integrated for PON applications. What is the warranty and expected service life?

How does the IP65 rating protect my fiber network?
IP65 rating means the cabinet is completely sealed against dust entry (first digit '6') and protected against water jets from any direction (second digit '5'). In practice, this prevents moisture-related fiber degradation — the primary cause of increased insertion loss in outdoor installations. The SMC shell also provides UV resistance, preventing polymer degradation from prolonged sun exposure. The integrated cable glands at the bottom maintain the IP rating even when multiple cables are routed through the cabinet.
